Well, this may be controversial as most things at this club are, but here goes. Recently I have smoked some Cubans that are soooo good.
I really like the Bolivar and the Montecristo. ( Both in robusto size.) These are the only Cubans I have smoked. I have always been under the impression that these would make you throw rocks at nons. Still today, the Padron Anniversario Torpedo and Imperial ( Maduro's) are the best tasting cigar I have found yet. Obviously an opinion , but I had to get it off my chest.

RE: Padron Anniversario
I don't think you are going to get a lot of argument here. There is no question in my mind the Anniversario's compare with the better Cubans. However, personal taste may dictate some people leaning to the heavier Cubans. As for me, I like aspects of each, and would honestly rate many of the Anniversario's up with their counterparts from Cuba.

I really like Montecristos, though I`ve never had the Cuban version, but I still haven`t had the Padron Anniversario. I can`t seem to find them. If they`re really that good, maybe I should look harder. Wish me luck!

I'm with you on this one. I love great cigars and in my opinion the Padron Anniversario Maduro Torpedo is a great cigar. I go after that cigar with the same umph that I go after isoms. Enjoy that puppy because in my opinion it is truly world class.

RE: Padron Anniversario
%90 percent of what I smoke is from the Padron '000's
series. The PAM is a great smoke but to hard to find. Don't limit your enjoyment. The regular Padrons are a fantastic smoke for a good price and much easier to find. Try em with a Sam Adam's Lager. I love Guinness too, but it fights with the Padrons for your taste buds. |

One of the few "non habanos" I still purchase. The PAM Imperials are wonderful.

I live about 35 minutes from Philly. My ex-girlfriend lives in South. What shop is it and around where do you live? Holt's is always a nice place for selection in Philly, too.
