Rocky Patel Edge Lite Review

Just sat down with a RP Edge Lite for the first time. Well made cigar, nice and firm with a very nice wrapper. Pre light draw was like sucking on a straw. Fired her up and got hit with a spicy, earthy blast for the first inch. Smoothed out and continued to delight, dot as spicy though. The two things that impressed me the most was the even burn, start to finish as well as the orange hot ember. This ember was not like any I've seen. This stick would not go out. The draw was just as smooth and easy from the start. Ended up burning my fingers on the nub! Definitely an awesome smoke!

Re: Rocky Patel Edge Lite

I had one of these two days ago. Out of a sampler from Devil site. I let it rest about 5 days after its trip and fired it up. Patel never fails to please. This was a great mild to med. smoke.

Thanks, I was gonna pick up a few of these yesterday but they didn't have a vitola beyond the torpedo. Torps are not my favourite shape.

I'll pick a few of the Edges up in Maduro methinks.

Re: Rocky Patel Edge Lite

I did a review about these about a month ago, I really like them too. They are lighter than the regular edges (Maduro and Nat)but they have enough spice to keep your attention. Above all I like the taste and flavors.

Re: Rocky Patel Edge Lite

Just goes to show that everyone has different tastes. I have tried one of these, and found it to taste like cardboard lite. I guess I will give it another shot....might have been an off day and everyone seems to really like them.
The edge maddie, particularly the missile, is an excellent cigar, and I am fond of some of the other RP's. Oh well...more for you....
