The only thing I saw left was the Selects in Juniors, Petit coronas, and Torpedo @ Famous http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/s...fm/st/1/bc/RFS

http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/s...fm/st/1/bc/RF2
for petit coronas, everything else isn't available in seconds

the torpedos seem like the way to go IMHO

Re: Smoked my first Rocky Patrel Sungrown tonight

the selects are supposed to just have maybe a sunspot or a minor flaw that only Rocky could tell the difference

The 2nd are little enough below par to make the final cut so it says.

Personally I'd take either and many people must if they're next to sold out on them. I had the girl check to see if they ordered more and it appears they didn't in their present order.

Well , they do make a pretty big one . Get the Limited edition box of 15 coffins , has 5 each of the Sun-grown , 1990 and the Edge in the single cigar coffins of the "A" size , huge cigars , has got to be close to 12 inches long . This set is usually up for bid on Cbid and can be had for less then $80 most of the time .

Had a sungrown today at lunch. It was wonderful. Nice and peppery, with a little kick near the end. I'll definately buy more

Re: Smoked my first Rocky Patrel Sungrown tonight

I'm a patellian...

Just had my first Sun Grown torpedo...

I usually smoke the vint 90 and 92 robustos, and love 'em.

the SG torp I just had was good too... but dang! like the other RP's I've had, it's wound up tight! I tried to make do with a little cut, but I thought I was going to suck my ear drums in... I had to cut it a lot more to make it smokable.

I like that the SG's wrapper is not as delicate as the vints...

construction it the best part of all the RP's I've tried... and this was no different. it doesn't hurt that I like the flavor.

good stuff.

Re: Smoked my first Rocky Patrel Sungrown tonight

Well I've had a pc that I loved- tons of flavour.

Smoked a toro the other day with no flavour. IT may have been a bad stick---or my palette because I had a Gurkha Doble Maduro the night before that I also put out early due to no flavour *shrugs*

Re: Smoked my first Rocky Patrel Sungrown tonight

I agree the RP are wrapped a little tight but that has to be the only drawback. I love the Vin and SG. What I like is that the Vin and SG are so different and on opposite ends of the flavor meter. Switching from smoking a SG to a Vin is a pleasant change from time to time.
