Thumbs up First Punch! 'Twas a Rare Corojo!
This cigar was enjoyed after a meal from Wendy's (typical college grub- two orders of 5 piece chicken nuggets and a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger). I went to my good buddy Matt's house after work and punched this little guy.

The draw was perfect and the prelight flavour was of raisins and pepper. I lit it up (it lit quite well) and took the first draw. A copious amount of thick, creamy-textured, white smoke withdrew from my mouth and lingered in the air for about thirty seconds before dissipating.

Wow.

This stick had a smooth, sweet tabacco taste with spice on the back of the palatte throughout the first two thirds. The last third picked up in spice, probably due to heat. It became a bit bitter in the end, but a few purges took care of that. Great, smooth flavour with a nice nic. kick! I let this one go with about an inch to go because of the heat of the smoke and the harsh and bitter overtones.

The stick burned well, although it did become uneven a few times it generally evened back out. I did have to apply two touchups to this one though, but nothing to detract from the experience.

This little guy lasted me a bit over an hour. I wish I had more- gonna go pick some up when I make some space in the Humi. The price sure is right!

The Punch Rare Corojo Double Corona was one of my first real cigars! Still enjoy them just as much as the first time!

Good review. I like these myself and manage to pick up a fiver or two every year. I don't smoke em often cuz they are so good and I want to be able to every now and then, reach in the humi and fire one up as a treat.
