casa fuente real time review from casa fuente

well I'm sitting here in Las Vegas in the casa fuente. Thought I'd try and do a real time review from my cell phone.

I'm smaoking a casa robusto and drinking a mohito. both are outstanding.

the stick is dark and rich. full of subtle flavors. draw is smooth. nice finish on each puff.

I'll try and keep up the review if my thumbs hold out on this mini keyboard.

about a quarter of the way into it. the wife is off shopping. this could be dangerous. me in here and her with her credit card.

the smoke and the abiance (sp) are very nice. although the ash just dropped on the bar, making a mess. more to do with me trying to manipulate this keyboard while smoking.

the smoke is still rich and flavorful. not bitter at all. this guy is certainly not a spicy as th X's I've had. but I find the X's too much in my face, so this is a good thing. well the waitress is right next to me, so I have to pause and oggle for a few....

I just had a Casa Fuente courtesy of the owner of my local cigar shop. It's an exceptional cigar, and smoking it at Top Shelf in Dover, NH must be 'almost' as good as having it at the source in Vegas. (No hot chicks or mojitos).

half way through. still great. if it holds up I'll probably buy a fistful for thr humidor.

the flavors are changing. kinda leathery now.

well, the wife just showed up. lots of damage on the card... oh well, now I won't feel guilty about buying a few of these.

the smoke is still holding up. on my second mohito.

Lisa's now talkig about getting a purse. maybe a box is now in order!

Back in the room now and on a real keyboard. Lisa didn't get a purse, yet. But the weekend ain't over yet. Stopped by Versace. We were looking at a wool coat that they had in the window. Asked the clerk how much... $6900.00! For a coat!! If she buys it, I'm getting a walk in humidor full of those sticks!

It was a very good cigar and the people watching was par excellance. Funny, when I was younger, I don't remember the girls looking as good as they are now.

We'll be back there tomorrow. We'll see how many I can justify getting.

Maybe you can negotiate a deal with your wife, i.e. 3 months of static- free cigar buying for the purse, 1 year of same for that coat, there are many ways to get creative here. You see how my warped mind works.

Seriously, I would get as many stogies as possible - who knows when the next opportunity will come along... Larry.

I had a CF at the Shack courtesy of Sam (Simplified) and it was outstanding! I had several great Cuban sticks that weekend and it held it's own.
