# 500, and a Review
It’s been a busy week, 4 bombs off in the mail – I’m really into that now! Cigars in, cigars out, and back in again, what a clever process!
Been working on my review format. Using all the nice stuff posted to come up with something that will help me with my future purchases. Hopefully through all my “fluffy-post whoring someone smiled or picked up on something ! Started adding on to posts to get my reviews in, that really works nice. Get to compare and see what different people think. But since this is #500… Cigar: Indian Tabac Super Fuerte (Honduras). Size: 7.5 x 52, Double Corona. Wrapper: Honduran Corojo-seed natural wrapper (Habana 2000) with many small veins. Filler:4-year-aged Costa Rican, Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers, Nicaraguan binder. Purchase: Mazo of 20 from CI received on 9/1/06. Price: 29.95 / 20 Drink:Diet Cherry/Vanilla Dr Pepper Place smoked: backyard, partly cloudy, temp = 70, humidity = 73%, time = 9:00 am Cap: Nice cap, cut was slightly rough Cut: Guillotine, XiKAR Xi. Cut clean and easy. Light: Easy to light, nice even start. Burn: a little uneven but not a problem. Ash: light gray and flakey. Ash falls off easily, not necessarily a good thing. Draw: very nice with good smoke volume, just the way I like it. Excellent for this size stick. Finish: Light with tobacco flavor, would like to have a little more to it. Body: Medium. Strength: Mild to start and builds to medium+. Performance: starts mild and smooth and builds slightly in the first 1/3. Fairly consistent flavor and nice even burn in last 2/3 of smoke, some hint of coco builds in about ½ way through. Last third is still nice and creamy, pretty impressive for a 7”+ stick. Comments: Nice smooth cigar for the morning. I like the Maduro from this line better but would re-buy if on special again. Have to be careful with the easy draw since it can make the stick hot in the last half. Love their band, very nice looking and easy to remove. HEY BOB, WANT TO RACE TO 1000? |
