"Honduras’s San Agustin Valley, Partagas cultivates a shade-grown tobacco that is so extraordinarily dark, oily, and rich tasting

Indeed, the tobacco that Partagas refers to as Spanish Rosado is a virtual replica of the dark reddish-brown Cuban tobacco that for years has dominated the European Spanish market.

To this wonderful wrapper Partagas adds a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and delightful blend of Dominican, Mexican, and Honduran long fillers"

This is a great small RG cigar at least in my estimation. I really like it a lot. It is solid dark reddish Honduran wrapper. Nice to the touch. Love this little cigar. This is as close as I have found yet to something that I have been looking for for us here in the USA. It has that spicy, zippy edge to it all the way through. This is a tasty little cigar for $ 1.90. Not only that it lasts a long time for a little cigar. That must be due to the excellent construction of this cigar. A beautiful white ash and aroma all the way through. This cigar stays with you after you have put it down which is really nice. It lasted about 30 minutes and I did not rush it. To a fast smoker all I can say is take the time to sit with it and enjoy it It is worth it. It is to me a medium smoke. The finish was great and could have packed a little more relaxing punch but all in all it was a wonderful little cigar and I give this one a thumbs up!! Viva Partagas Does it once again for me.

I'm not a fan of these at all. I have given them numerous tries and they have never impressed me.

No I picked these up at my local. I think I will be going online for them. I see where they are sold out though online in some places.

Ill see if I can find one this weekend, and Ill let ya know how it goes. I really like some of the smaller RG sticks for a quick smoke, but have never tried the Spanish Rosado. Frankly, I havent seen it until now either.

Re: Partagas Spanish Rosado Santiago 32-36x 4 1/4

What a coincidence, I just stopped by my favorite B & M (Cigar King in Skokie) on my way home from work today and one fella working there pulled it out of the tube and showed it to me.

I almost bought a couple but opted for something else.

Your review has me interested though and I'm gonna try it.

I bought a box of robustos last weekend after the Partagas presentation @ Famous. The Spanish Rosado is Benji Menendez's favorite cigar. He was the representative from Partagas giving the demonstration. They are very good Bob.
