Short REO Robusto Review

I know that there have been mixed reviews on REO posted here before and I saw some that hated it, some that liked it and some that loved it. With that said here is my review.

Reo Robusto - helluva cigar........Period (got some burnt fingers to prove it).

LOL! How can I refuse?! I will give em one helluva review for ya. And, er uh, I seem to be facing a similar dilemma as you are, I seem to be in an embarrassing situation with er uh space issues So, I will have to smoke em immediately. LOL! This evening I was looking at some colored plastic bins my wife bought years ago, and which we have several extras of. I was scheming about how I could turn one of them into a tupperdor Sigh, man do I have it bad. My boss confirmed for me today that I am officially out of control.

I got 3 words for you Don; Garage-Sale......Cooler.

You know you are going to need it and all you have to do is wash it with a mild bleach solution and air dry it. That is one of my projects as soon as I get off of this job in New Mexico. I do already have a really old metal coleman cooler so I am halfway there. It may be a week or two before I send them to you so you have time. My travel schedule is very hectic for the next 2 weeks.

I hear ya Scotty. Bleach huh? Okay I can do that, and the seal on these containers is very good and tight, and I have some pieces of spanish cedar from old sampler boxes. So, I oughta be okay to solve my immediate space concerns. Hehe, my wife is gonna discover yet another cigar stash. She tells friends and family that I have cigars stashed all over the house....and I do
My brother came to visit during the summer; we were sitting on my bed as I was showing him some of my smokes, and he said: "damn Don, the only place you don't have cigars is under your bed"... I said "wait " And I pulled out two boxes in a sealed garment bag from under my bed

You are my kind of guy. If I ever get up your way, you and me and 68 will have to have a little mini-herf.

Greg, without your advice and help I would not have found this smoke. Good on you.

Re: Short REO Robusto Review

IMHO a very good cigar and one helluva deal at under $2.50 each from "the devil".

Re: Short REO Robusto Review

I've had the torpedo and have to say that I was pretty impressed with it. I couldn't believe how oily the wrapper was. One of these days I'll get to some of these again as well.

Re: Short REO Robusto Review

I was expecting this to be just another decent $3 maduro, but when I tried it I was amazed at how good it was. Construction was flawless, flavor was rich and changed throught the smoke. I'm tempted to buy a box, but will probably settle for a few fivers. Definitely worth trying.

Rocky Patel himself says it is one of his best blends.

Re: Short REO Robusto Review

I picked up the box I am smoking on for $50 and for $2.50 a stick I do not know of anything that remotely compares. The closest thing in price and taste may be the Padron Delicias but they are more expensive. GREAT 'Gar Period (imho).
