Punch Deluxe Review

Punch Deluxe
Royal Coronation 5.62 X 44 (Tube)
Wrapper: Ecuador Sumatran (Maduro)
Binder: Connecticut
Filler: DR/HON/NIC
First impression: dark brown and rough looking well made but just looks rough. And the wrapper was slightly oily to the touch.
Pre light: medium draw with a light nutty flavor
Light: easy light with copious amounts of smoke right off, and a nutty flavor.
First Third: The flavor started out very mild, and built to about a medium in my book, not as full as other Maduro, but good. The ash was quite nice and hung on past about 1.5 inches.
Second third: the ash fell off about half was though this third. The smoke was still bellowing, and the flavor was still quite nutty, but a bit different than in the beginning, possibly with a bit of spice, or it may have just been due to the ash falling and the heat building a bit. The draw began to loosen up a little.
Last third: the stick had regulated the heat to just below hot, and the draw was almost too soft, but the flavor was still great and very consistent.
Conclusion: the draw went to almost falling apart by the time I had to put it down at about ¾ inch, and it started to get a bit hot, but it remained smooth and a bit creamy, with a nutty flavor through. I thoroughly enjoyed this stick, I’m not sure if I will buy them again, but I would defiantly not turn them down either. The taste that was left well after it was gown was quite pleasant. I would say it’s defiantly worth trying at least once, and probably a few more times.

Re: Punch Deluxe

The natural version of these are my favorite of the Punch line. Nice review.
