Avo Domaine 20 Review
I took off work this week to study for the lsat and as a treat for my long hard studying I decided that I would do nothing at all today. At about 2:45 it hit me that a cigar sounded real nice. Actually I thought it would be an excellent way to help me get rid of the nervous pre test jitters.
I took my Avo Damine 20 out of my travel humi it had been resting for about 2 months and went out to the porch. It is an amazing day outside. A beautifull 69F outside with a nice fluffly sky and a little breaze. I sat down cut the end of this bad boy off light up in one strike of the match and started to enjoy myself wile working a soduku puzzle.
The smoke was very nice.
The cigar light beautifully and required no touch ups. A very nice even consistent burn. The first third of the cigar had a very light flavor with a nice creamy smoke. After a few more puffs it became more of a medium bodied cigar and I hinted what I think was cherry. By the middle of the cigar the somke was getting more full and i was enjoying it much more. The last third of the cigar was a tad spicy but still was a very nice and mellow smoke.
Overall impression is that this was a very nice cigar with good construction. The only flaw in construction is that when i took the avo band off of it about halfway through the smoke the leaf on the outside tore a little bit.
It was a tad expensive for the quality. It is a cigar I may smoke again but I still like the AF Hemingway and the CAO Brazil as my top smokes.
