Macanudo diplomat Review
I just recently had a Macanudo diplomat maduro and it was truely the most tasteless cigar I have ever had. It is a figurado, fairly short smoke with a nice wrapper and color (figured with a dark wrapper would be full of flavor! NOT!) After the first 3/4 of an inch it starts to get wider and I thought the flavor would start to flow. But to my dismay it continued through whole stick, no flavor. At one point I caught a hint of beef jerky but that was brief and after all was said and done it left a blah taste in my mouth. By the way I had to clean it up with a Gurkha Aincent Warrior, way better. Overall on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 3, well constructed, overall looks good but a great starter maduro for light flavored smokers.

Re: Macanudo diplomat
I bought a box of these, and I have to agree about the tastelessness at first, but....
...let them rest in the humidor and the flavour does come through (not quite sure where it comes from!). Okay, it's still fairly mild, but it's a definite improvement.
