I find the ESG one-dimensional... there's much to recommend about the construction and appearance--both as good as it gets--but as a long-time VSG smoker, I'll take a Spellbound over the ESG 20 any day of the week (and have enough left in my pocket for an Oliva V torpedo).

I found the ESG 21 (Robusto) a more complex, satisfying smoke. But in the end, I can't recommend either at $20-$25.

Great review of a great (although overpriced) cigar.

It's funny - I forgot I did this review until I got a note about it.

I agree with your sentiment completely. While I enjoyed the experience, I have not repeated it and HAVE enjoyed a few Enchantments and Illusions. I didn't much care the the Oliva V Torp, though. The Lancero was a treat.
