La Gloria Cubana Serie R (Maduro) Review

This was a very pleasant surprise. The presentation was great and it was very well constructed. The burn did get uneven a few times but it did correct itself. The flavor consisted of deep coffee and chocolate. It was slightly sweet with a mild spiciness for an aftertaste. The cigar started to get a little harsh around the half way point so I purged it and it was as good as new. The aroma was great and the smell lingered on my mustache for a couple hours after I smoked it. I find this a great value for a sub 6 dollar cigar. It was the first of the Series R that I have smoked. I also bought a 5 and look forward to that experience as well. I think I may have found a new go-to cigar.

Couldn't agree more, CW. The "R" #'s 6 and 7 maddies are definately a goto smoke for me (If I have some time on my hands, that is. My last #7 was good for almost 2 hours.)
