Fuente Green Labels probably have the weakest wrappers I have seen in a long time. That isnt necessarily a bad thing, and it hasnt stopped me from smoking them. I just had a run-in with wrapper weakness on these where I had cut the cigar and placed it on my passenger seat to grab a lighter. I dropped the lighter and fumbled around for a minute to find it. I had not realized that my vent was blowing on the passenger seat, and when I went to grab the cigar a minute later the wrapper had several splits. It also unraveled during smoking. Other green labels smoked in more neutral locations havent had that problem.

The 8-5-8's are very hard to find in Sungrown, but they are pretty readily availble in Natural, Cameroon, and Maduro. The maduro CF is deeeelicious, and is one of my favorite NC's. The sungrown CF should be a little easier to come by. Try the Maduro while you are at it!

Thanks for the review!

IMO, these are cigars which need to be kept around the 70% mark. Any lower and you do start to see some problems.

I have a couple boxes of sungrowns and have smoked a couple more, and I think this is the #1 stick that has given me wrapper/severe burn issues over time.

When I keep them in a smaller humi which is kept at 70%, they tend to be fine.

Anyone had the candela wrapper version? Thoughts?

Thanks for the review. I actually lit one up about 5 or 6 minutes before I saw this thread and am enjoying it alot. I have smoked about 3 or 4 over the last month and they always hit the spot. The aroma and taste are so nice and so is the price. I have noticed the uneven burn as well but it doesn't seem to detract very much. One of my favorite milder cigars.
