Sancho Panza (Brown Label) Caballero Review

Humidor: 67% humidity, 64.6 deg F

Initial thoughts:
- Extremely smooth-good looking cigar for the price
- Boring looking cigar band but very good construction
- With all the good reviews from others, I'm expecting a good smoke

Cut: Easy cut with my free Carlos Torano double blade cutter
Pre-light draw: Easy with nothing left over in my mouth
Toast: Lights easily with torch lighter. No relighting needed.

First couple of draws: Very mild tasting while I was expecting a lot more tastes to this cigar. By the 5th puff, I begin to taste the true smooth taste of this cigar.

1/4: The ash held tight and white for 1.5". The taste continued to be mild throughout but very flavorful. Burn is very even with no touch-up. Smoke is minimal. Not as much flavor as a Macanudo but still very satisfying.

1/2: Ash, taste, and burn remained exceptional.

3/4: Stronger medium taste appeared. More pepper on the palate.

Overall impression: A great mild cigar for the price. Its cigar band appearance does not do it justice when compared to the taste/price value. Extremely well constructed cigar.

Would I buy for my humidor? Definitely

Would I suggest to others? Defiinitely for someone that enjoys a great value mild smoke.

Happy puffing!

This is one of the brands that really got me heavy into handmade cigars. These are perfect for new smokers, mild but enough flavor to make it enjoyable. Can't beat the price on these either.cheers

Good review. The brown label is too mild for me, I usually stick with the Xtra Fuerte and Double Maduro. Great cigars for the price. My definite go-to smoke!

I have had one of these (different vitola- Valiente I believe) and I have decided that I like them as a sunny afternoon type of cigar- when I want something on a nice warm day in the sunshine- something that I don't feel bad about burning if I don't pay full attention to and something that I don't feel needs a large or special meal in front of it- just goes well with a cool, refreshing drink (soda or ice water or whatever you feel is refreshing) and a casual, sunny day.

Nice review. You forgot to add that for the money spent these are hard to beat. I really enjoy Sanchos and try to keep them in my humi at all times.

Thanks.
