Sabor Cubano Grand Torpedo Review

I am a BIG fan of the La Tradicion cigars and Sabor Cubano is one of the brands produced by this Miami, Florida roller. This is a blended leaf cigar with the filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, the binder is from Ecuador and the wrapper is from Mexico. The blending of these tobaccos result in an unbeleivable taste!

This cigar has a beautiful presentation, with the wrapper dark and oily. The cap is put on nicely. Lit easily and evenly and burned nicely yielding a nice light gray ash. The draw was a bit tight, but not overly so. As for the flavor, it was a rich earthy taste that was absolutely heavenly.

La Tradicion continues to be the finest USA cigar manufacturer around, and this baby is living proof of that statement. You know, it was so good that I am putting any purchase of ISOMs on hold in order to purchase some more La Tradicion smokes!

As an aside, my order was late and I had to notify the company of this fact. To make it right, the owner, Luis Sanchez sent me an e-mail and included an extra cigar in my order, the Las Memorias Cubana Gorda. What service!

I am on kinda a isom kick right now, but your right there are quite a few non isoms that are really great and I have yet to try. Soooo many cigars and soo little money

Sounds like you got a great cigar with great service to boot. I'll have to try these.

Perhaps we can re-arouse some interest?

I just ordered a complete set of the samplers to go through all 3 of their lines as well as the Torp sampler. I've read nothing bad about these and they certainly look tasty.

Can't Wait!!!!!!

Re: Sabor Cubano Grand Torpedo

My next box will possibly be a Sabor Cubano. The pricing is certainly reasonable.
