Punch Grand Puro Sierra Review

I smoked my first one of these the other day and was really impressed with the flavor of this. I'm not one who can taste nutmeg or anything...but this was...um...I don't know...cinnamonny? I dont' know...had a nice flavor that I really enjoyed.

The construction was nice...cap was a little rough, but of course, that's cut off anyway. Nice wrapper...good construction...nice even burn.

I really enjoyed this...anyone else try it?

Nope, not yet. Been meaning to. So many cigars, so little time.

CH,

For the price I think they are a #1 choice...my current box is different than my last ones. Not as peppery with more chocolate and nutty flavors. and some spice (I am not good enough to really put my finger on the type).

Everyone I give one to agree they are a good smoke especially for the money.

Re: Punch Grand Puro Sierra

I"m still a little curious about the unique flavor I taste in this cigar. I'm puffing on one here (slowly) and I'm beginning to wonder if it's an apple taste I'm finding???

I've had two of these cigars, and I have to agree they have a nice flavor and a great price.

Re: Punch Grand Puro Sierra

Unfortunatley I've only had one. Lemme say it was very tasty. In fact it was one of the better cigars I smoked in May or June (I forget which). Had me considering buying a box I enjoyed it so much. Just haven't got the funds together for it yet. Maybe next month...

A question for those more experienced with the Punch GP: How consistent is the flavor box to box?

TIA,
-E

Good question. I have only bought 2 boxes so far. The second was not as spicy as the first (which was too spicy). Plus it was in the "sick" period" Once it came around it was real good. Also; in both boxes i'd say 2-3 were too tight (still smokable), but the rest were fine. Maybe someone else has more experience with this brand.
