Fonseca 5-50 Review

I enjoyed one of these on Saturday morning doing some work outside. In my ideal world I would be able to sit on the patio and drink some coffee and read the paper too but I was happy just to be outside and able to smoke.

This is a mild cigar, great since I had not yet eaten breakfast, but quite enjoyeable in my opinion. Not too many different flavors, just some straightforward tobacco and a great aroma. I would like to stock up on some 5 packs or a box so that when spring arrives I actually can enjoy one with coffee and the paper and NO work sometimes.

The wrapper started to come apart a little toward the end, maybe because it was below freezing oustide and the heating while inhaling and cooling in between overstressed it (some good fizix in there). But nothing too bad.

Anyway, my

They really are good smokes. Lighter, but still flavorful.

Re: Fonseca 5-50

I just smoked one of these for the first time. I wasn't expecting too much because I heard a few people say it is kind of bland. I also tend to smoke more full-bodied cigars. However, I really enjoyed it. Not the most complex smoke but it tasted pretty good. Just some basic sweet tobacco flavor. It produced lots of smoke, which I like. I will try to pick some more of these up for when I am in the mood for a milder cigar.

I usually try to add a 5-er of these to online orders because they make a great morning smoke for me. A light flavor but good with a cup of coffee and I like the size for a managable smoke time-wise.

I guess I differ from the others opinions here. I absolutely hated this smoke and have refused to try another.

Thumbs up Re: Fonseca 5-50

Nice review! Glad you enjoyed it!

I had one last night while my son smoked an RYJ. I didn't have my laptop with me so my review lacks my usual verbosity (don't cheer). It was good in every review respect, but too mild for my taste. I'd give one to anybody new to cigars.
