TRILOGY Ovation Camaroon Review

Thanks to a very generous brother (billybarue), I was able to sample one of these I have seen in a magazine or somewhere. I have been curious about them for a while.
Prelight was typical; she lit up very quick and evenly. My first few draws were very rich and flavorful...but...something familiar...hmmm. Indian Tabac Maduro was my thought. Then I closed my eyes and took a nice deep draw, expelled the smoke, and was left with an unmistakable taste on my palet...COHIBA Red Dot! I am a huge fan of the DR Cohibas and I believe this may be the only camaroon wrapper I like! This Ovation was powerful, yet smooth. Perfect burn, with a medium amount of smoke.
I'm always afraid of trying something out of the blue like this, but I am very well impressed! Towards the end, she got might tar-like and I was forced to lay her down. I am not sure the price range these cigars fit in, but I will be looking for them again in the future! On to the Corojo! mmmmm

I've had a couple of boxes of them and thought they were OK...Got sick of them and will wait awhile before ordering them again.

I like the corojo in the Monarch,
very tasty with some age.
I hope the cammie is as good.

The monarch is excellent. I just got some corojo's in the monarch and baron sizes. I do agree they are better with a little age on them. I've not had a bad one yet.

got a couple of the corojo barons resting. Are they as good as the monarch?

Do you know if they use a different wrapper in these two sizes?
My monarchs are a whole lot darker than the barons.

I love the whole Trilogy line, the Corojo are awesome, the Maduro are great, and you can’t beat the price. Sounds like I need to pick up an Ovation or 25

I won a 5ver on the Devil, there sitting nicely in the box. I can't wait to fire one up.

Re: TRILOGY Ovation Camaroon

The Trilogy's are nice cigars; try the maduros, they rock.

Good everyday-type smoke that can be had for next to nothing on the Devil's Site...if you let the suckers clear out first.
