I just tried my first one of these, out of a 5-pack won on the site that must not be named. I wanted to give these some time, but couldn't wait. This cigar had rested in my humidor for only 3 day.

Great looking dark brown wrapper. Seemed a bit soft.

Had some burn problems in the last 1/2 of the cigar. I thought they might correct so I didn't touch up. They never did and the cigar was burning pretty uneven at the end. Draw was bit tight. Ash was firm and held for about 1.5 inches before falling.

Taste was like black coffee all the way through. Very enjoyable.

I think these will improve with a little more drying out time, seemed that CI shipped them a bit wet and I should have let them sit, but still very enjoyable at the price point. I'll try to post an update when I smoke another
one.
Yeah man, CI or CBID, whichever you want to call them ships everything extremely wet, which to me is a bit much, but oh well. I usually squeeze the foot a little on cigars to see where they are humidity wise, and my personal stash at 65-68 you can hear a little noise from the tobacco. With CBID shipments, I hear nothing compared to my stuff. Usually forces me to a wait a week. Thanks for revisiting an old review of mine though. Still a very good smoke at a fair price.

Absolutely agreed. Good smoke at a good price. I'm really looking forward to letting these even out and trying another.

Re: El Mejor Espresso

just ordered a 5pk from 'the site that must not be named' after reading some of the reviews. churchills for 7 bucks, not bad for my 1st purchase from the devil site. Any advice on letting them sit for a week before diving into them? b/c I'm really thinking about firing one up as soon as they arrive.

I have four of these in the humi and I've not yet had them. I think they have close to six months age on them.
