Tampa Sweethearts #50 maduro Review

I smoked it, and it was good. Consistant coffee and cocao flavors, so good I almost wanted to eat it. It burned good despite my crappy lighting. It was good enuff to nub, but it was too cold outside, so I tossed it with an inch to go. This will DEFINATELY be a constant fixture in my humi. Now i'm anxious to try the naturals.

I agree! The TS #50 maduro is one of my favorite smokes! You should try the #280 maduro also, very yummy. BTW the naturals in both those sizes are also very good, the taste resembles a mild Hemingway IMHO.

cyberhick, pm your addy and I will send you some to try.

I need to try the maduro. Same flavor was mine in the natural, but I thought the Nats were a bit mild. I would love to try the maduro.

The way I'd sum the flavor up as well. The Natural's remind me a bit of the Casa Torano, but that based on just a couple of them and they were the 50's not the 500.

One of these days I'm going to have to try these...

Sounds just like what I like in a cigar!

Good review.

Sorry for the dumb question, where did you order these from?

I googled TS and found the answer, Is that the only place you can get them?

Re: Tampa Sweethearts #50 maduro

Has anyone tried the #500? I have been enjoying some shorter smokes lately.

Although for me that begs the question, "why would they make two cigars seemingly identical except one being .5 inch shorter?". Would that little difference cause a change in flavor or are they using different leaves?

I've wondered the same myself... It seems that you can only get the 50's in natural at the moment on the ts site. I'm finding that I prefer maduros, so I'm going to try the 500's. I would have ordered already, but I held back to try some curly heads as a lead in to the lower fuente lines. My line of thinking didn't help b/c I was pretty unimpressed overall...
