I don't know exactly but it was in the range of

42/46 x 4-4 1/2"

I'm telling you Hat, it just was not good. The construction sucked, the draw was too easy, then it burned down the side, then the draw got better but it didn't smoke well, I over herfed it then the flavor went to crap.

Other than than it was pure joy!

Have you tried the Onyx Reserve Mini Belicoso. I thought these were excellent, small stick but great flavor and construction wasn't too shabby. I did notice that it had an uneven draw to it but it was fixable. However the amount of smoke it produced for such a small stick was very impressive.

Those were the ones I was thinking of too... Thinking of getting them too... Heard a lot good things about them, They got 94 from Cigar Insider, if I remember it correctly... Plus they are appearantly Wetterhorns favourites.... (Cant be bad in other words...)

Got a bit confused there for a bit..

Re: Onyx Vintage 1997

I had the reserve. It was not bad.....

These are not my favorite but I like them. I had the burn problems and a few of the draw problems also.

It's just for $6.00 a stick there are a lot better values out there. For $6.50 you can get a Perdomo Reserve La Tradition Cabinet Red Label Maduro. It is a much better cigar. Bigger ring better flavor. Just an all around better cigar.

Or for that matter you can get a padron maduro for about $2-$3 dollars less than the Onyx.....

Yeah, they are very pleasant. A nice deep flavor and a lot of smoke. They are great for some of my friends that don't spend too much time smoking a cigar, its not something you can smoke in 15 min but its more time efficient for the businessman on his lunchbreak. In fact, the other day that's exactly what I had for lunch, that and a club soda. Aaahhhhh the joys of actually getting a lunch break once in awhile.

Re: Onyx Vintage 1997

i had a couple of the onyx vintage torp, i think they call it the spanish colonial, and its not too bad. didnt make me want a box but its not as bad as the one you described. have had several of the onyx reserve also, like the torbusto. they are nice and chocolaty/earthy but they are too mild for me now. ymmv
