Padron Anni 1926 #35 Maduro Review

Got this little guy in my NST trade with Yacno.

This was a cute little cigar at about 4" and maybe 46-48 RG. But as I smoked, 2 old sayings came to mind: "Big things come in small packages", and "It ain't the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog". And this little doggy has a helluva bite.

Never had a 1926 or 1964 before, so I didn't know what to expect. Man, this little firecracker kicked my ass! Definitely FULL flavored, rich, with a nice lingering finish. Flavor for the first half was pretty one-dimensional, but not at all in a bad way. I haven't smoked many Padrons, but this one has the sort of "kick" that I've noticed in Nicaraguan cigars. Second half started to pick up more varied flavors and even a bit of spice toward the end (which is coming too soon!). I'm nubbing it as I type this!

In conclusion, though my broke ass could never afford to smoke these, I give my deepest thanks to Yacno for the opportunity to have one.
