Tinder Box La Reserva Review

Tinder Box® La Reserva

I was wondering if anybody else has had any experiences with these.

I got a free three pack with my purchase from them, and decided to try one last night. The one I had was the #6 Maduro.

It felt very light even for a corona, however, it was very firm, and even though it was firm it drew very nicely with just a snip. The wrapper was very rough looking, not so much veins but more like light spots. None the less it burnt razor sharp, I was very impressed with the burn and draw. The ash was nice and firm, and hung on for over an inch before I ashed it, I was getting up to do some laundry and didn’t want it ashing in the clean closes before I got back to the ashtray, the ash was a medium dark gray, not dark but not light.

The flavor was very light, and nothing special, just tobacco, not that that’s bad. It is listed as mild, and I would have to agree, and I think it would be best served to smoke this earlier in the day. There was plenty of smoke, from this little mite though, very similar the CAO Brizilia Piranha I had a wile back.

I smoked this one to under an inch, just to see what it had, and if it’d turn bitter, it remained true to flavor the entire way, and never turned bitter. It did get a bit hot towards the end however, but never bitter.

My verdict is still out on these, I will have to smoke another one in the sampler before I decide, and this is why I ask if anyone else has tried these. I don’t know when I’ll have time for another smoke, and I have a coupon that will expire soon, so, I am thinking of adding a box of these to my pending order, but I would like some more feed back, before I do. They are not bad and this one would be worth the $2 something that they work out to be after the discount, but if this one was just a fluke, maybe not.

If others have had good, or bad, luck with these pleas post.

I got a 3 pk sampler of these with my order too, I'll try to have one this weekend if mother nature co-operates and let you know how it was.

So far I've gotten A three pack with each of my orders. They kinda look rough
and I've given a couple away to guys @ work. I kept a couple resting and will
probably try them down the road.

Also have a 3 pack. Not high on the priority list to try at the moment.

Re: Tinder Box® La Reserva

I have not tried one yet, but I gave one to my brother-in-law, who likes milder cigars and he was very impressed.

Re: Tinder Box® La Reserva

I really enjoyed the ones I have had. I had planned on doing a review also. Thanks for the review!
