Felipe Dominicana Review

So finals week hell is finally over so I thought I wokkuld enjoy a before lunch smoke and I picked out a Felipe Dominicana in Torpedo from my Humi. It smelled delicious, almost like chocolate and cedar. I brewed some coffee and went outside to fire this baby up. I clipped the end short like I like to do with Torpedos and took a pre light draw and it was a cedar type flavor to it. I fired it up and immediately tasted hints of burnt 7-year old Madagascar Vanilla J/k of course it was a chocolate flavor and it was more earthy than anything very mild IMHO. I am still a noob smoker so I dont know all the flavor profiles but I am smoking it right now and it is getting better and better I think I might nub this guy. Its actually strange because I was expecting diddly squat from it but man it surprised me for sure. I would give it an 8 out of 10 but then again I am partial to torpedos

I agree...this is a surprisingly good cigar. I bought a box of them about a year ago and initially they were not all that impressive. However, letting them sleep in the ol humidor did wonders to them. Highly recommended if you have the patience and room to let them sit a while. You can get them for great deals at the Devil site too.

Well that settles it. I have that same cigar I got from the first sampler I bought from CBID last April. Didn't see great reviews on it so it was easy to pass it by. Well the 12 month clock is fast approaching. Might be time to dig that puppy out and put your recomendation to the torch.
