Talking Habanos Torres as yet unnamed, limited production

So yesterday I was hanging around with my friend at this shop. I looked in his rolling room and saw what I thought might be his equivalent of Esplendidos tied in a blue ribbon. He said it wasn't his Esplendido equivalent but something new and he only made 50 of them. Damned pretty.

So he hands one to me to smoke. Beautiful cigar. The wrapper was claro, had some very small veins, and was silky. The cigar was tightly rolled and rather light. All the leaves used in construction were 30 years old. Punched it and checked the draw. For how tightly it was rolled the draw was impeccable. Pre-light flavor had some slight hints of pepper and almost lime.

I lit the bad boy up in the 40mph winds we were having here in Mesa yesterday. The first few puffs imparted a donkey kick flavor of pepper, lime, and nuts. Soo smooth and there's only 45 left. After the initial strong punch to the palate the cigar started to behave and was very consistent in flavor. It became a mild to medium cigar but full of flavor. Did I say it was smooth? The ash stayed on for a good 2 1/2 inches even with the wind. It burned straight too. I played a decent game of chess and finally finished it.

I'm not one to smoke only a certain strength so a mild cigar isn't below me. Overall I give it a 100/100.

How fortunate to be in such a place at such a time. Thanks for sharing a unique experience. Perhaps Tim will give you the honor of naming this creation.

If you want them then you'd better do so quickly. There were 45 left last night. I think 20 are available...

Hmm, I was trying to think of a name for cigars, but can't come up with anything. Sounds like a good smoke.
