Sure hope you guys are right!

Ordered a bundle of the maduros today, and hoping they'll arrive by the weekend.

Re: La Floridita Toro Maduro (Bundle)

The bundle came at 3 this afternoon... I fired one up at 4:30... Still shell-shocked from the shipping trip.

Wanna' know something?

I tried just ONE, and committed the rest to a sweet spot in the humidor. I believe that this is a "floater"... Doesn't matter how many times you flush... It just keep coming back!

Seriously... If you're a maduro-lover, it's well worth the $27 they get for a bundle. NO... It's not one of those that changes significantly in flavor through the burn. But it burns properly, without correction. And with rest in the humi, I suspect that it'll be a very nice smoke on a hot August afternoon!

(My opinions are purely subjective, as usual)

Yet another bundle stick to try! I want to try the Tampa Sweethearts, Famous 3000's, now these. I LOVE the Sancho Panza DMs (thanks TXmatt for the tip) so I am looking forward to the comparison. I can't wait to get my cabinet humi so I have room!
Thanks for the review

The aroma was floral and the taste was like chocolate, spice and earthiness. I decided they need more time in the humidor though, and I am sure they will be even better than the first audition. The price from Famous Smokes is possibly the best thing about these, and I'm feeling like I got a great deal. In a coupla months I'm sure I'll feel even better about my purchase. Enjoy your bundle
I want to revisit this because it is 5 months later and I can only say that they have gotten MUCH better with some time on em. All of the flavors I described above, along with the taste have gotten better and more pronounced. The burn is excellent, the draw is perfect for me (not too loose, not too tight). The aroma is great too. I can also taste some coffee in these now as well. This was my first one in over 4 months and I am even more pleased with my purchase. I wonder how you other folks who responded to this thread are making out with your bundles?

Re: La Floridita Toro Maduro (Bundle)

One of my first posts, I asked what bundles BOTL and SOTL recomended.

A couple of gorilla's recomended La Foridita so I ordered the maduro Panchos.

Had my first one this past Monday and was very happy that I ordered them.

Other than a slight burn problem, it was great.

A true bargain. I will order a few more bundles for aging.

Being a newbie, I found these a great smoke for the money. Famous is just a 6 mile trip from my house.

Re: La Floridita Toro Maduro (Bundle)

Tempted??

At any given time, I have at LEAST two bundles of Maddies.

No brainer in my book. Go-to that always delivers.
