If you remember my last review you know I had burn problems with the last one. This time around a little different.
First let me say the weather today was excellent, not too hot and no wind made it perfect. Pulled out the Xikar and carefully clipped the head of this beauty and took a prelight draw. Just as I remember it, delicious chocolate and caramel. Toasted the foot with the Zippo just like last time. First quarter in consisted of very harsh smoke and resulted in some painful snorking but I didn't give up. Smoke mellowed out and I was off to earthy tasting heaven. Smoke remained pretty consistant for the first third not too much change with the exception of the occasional leathery taste. Burn was perfect. Second third progressed in to a chocolate delight. Ash was still holding on at this point but as I progressed in to the last third I lost it all over my work pants

. Thus far the burn has remained perfect and I'm progressing into the last third. I'm hit with a new flavor of cedar and hints of chocolate but tastes more like a coffee at this point. I smoked until I had about an inch left until I had to toss it and head to work.
Glad I revisited this one so soon but I think with a couple more months in the cooler these could be quite the contender with some sticks that cost twice or triple the price of these. If you haven't already get yourself a box
