A. Fuente Spanish Lonsdale Review
Smoke a lot of new cigars recently and finally getting the courage to begin reviewing them. Expect a lot more in the future.
I picked up this smoke just by chance at the local B&M. I go to the barber across the street at least once per week and often go in and grab 2 smokes I fairly randomly choose. I was looking for a moderately priced lonsdale and grabbed this one.
Construction was good, not amazing, but no blemishes. I clipped it and the prelight draw was good, little creamy and spicy. I was not expecting a whole lot from this cigar and figured it would be pretty average. I lit it up and immediately I was impressed. This is a medium, maybe on the milder side, cigar. It had hints of pepper with a nice creamy finish. The draw was perfect as well as the burn. I did not have to touch it up once, which was surprising as recently I've smoked many higher end Fuente's that have needed a lot of work. I was very impressed with the amounts of creamy smoke I was able to pull in from this somewhat thin cigar.
This lasted about 1:45 overall and for the price I thought it was an excellent choice.
