Fuente Fuente Opus X Perfecxion No.4 Review

When: Friday night
Where: My front porch
With Who: Buddy Mike, who nubbed a LFD corona
Drink: Gran Marinier
Cigar: Fuente Fuente Opus X Perfecxion No.4
Size 5 3/16 inches
Ring Gauge: 43

It's been awhile since I've smoked an Opus - probably over a year. I've been grabbing two every other weel from my local B&M who always has 3 or 4 boxes of them. So....

This cigar looks inviting with it's medium brown color. The flavor is medium to medium-full, but not at all overpowering. Smooth would be a good word. Picked up some hints of spice about midway through the smoke, but they seemed to leave as soon as they arrived? ALso - this guy was a bit of a fight throughout with some uneven burn at times. I had to relight several times to straighten it out. Annoying for a cigar of this price.

So I was pumped for what I thought was going to be a memorable cigar, but was let down a bit. It is a very satisfying smoke, but for the money there are better.

Letting the remainder of my stash sit for a while and I'll revisit them in about 6 months.
