I received this stogie as a sampler/freebie with an order a while ago, and I had left it resting for several months. I was looking for a yard 'gar today and happened to pull this one. Bear in mind, flavored cigars arent really my cup of tea, but I figured I would be as objective as possible.
Overall, the smoke was presented nicely, with a great wrapper and even construction. The smell/prelight aroma was a different story - it was very sweet smelling, but I couldnt tell if it was a "candy-like" smell or like the smell of the toilet pucks used in bathroom stalls.
Taste was a whole different story as well - the tip of the cigar was flavored, and almost too sweet. Light was quick and even, and the first two puffs actually werent too bad. The tobacco was actually decent and not "flavored filler" material. The honey taste was there, but there was an artificial sweetness present, much like saccharin.
Things went downhill after the first third - heavy bitterness kicked in at the halfway point and I decided to toss the cigar.
I guess this type of smoke would work for the flavored Phillies crowd...
