Got this stick in a bomb from Addiction while we were at LC&P for a rolling event
Particulars: Strength:Mild-Medium BodiedOrigin ominican RepublicWrapper:NaturalShape:StraightAt first glance, the wrapper was beautiful...for a natural one at least. It wasn't a solid color, but had a sandy aspect to it. Hard to explain, yeah I should have taken pics but I didn't . The whole body of the smoke was firm to the touch and from the solid feel of its construction, I knew I was in for a treat.Cut the cap off with the Xikar STS and noticed the cut was a little angled...my fault, not the stick's. Put it to my lips for the pre-light draw and immediatly tasted a very nutty spice...HEAVEN...if you ask me. The draw was actually a little easy for me. I knew that when lit, it would be difficult to get a mouthful of smoke due to the ease of draw. Toasted its tootsie and fired it up. You want to talk about smoke and LOTS of it! Boy oh boy, I thought my neighbors my call 911 from the smoke cloud that drifted up and over the house. Beautiful, aromatic white smoke. It was a sight to behold...yeah, no pics .My pre-light taste of nutty spices stayed with this smoke all the way through. Not powerful, not weak...just right. I'm much more accustomed to full bodied smokes, but the flavor of this was just great. I tried to come up with a food to relate it to and can't . I know I've had something that tasted like this before, but can't put my finger on it. Oh well, just know it had a pleasant nutty spice to it! Burned really well throughout...no correction by me needed. Got a little warm towards the end, but that might have been due to my excessive puffing...was looking forward to my AF Chateau Fuente Maduro I had waiting . I decided to put it down with about .5" left...yeah, she was nubbed!!Yeah, I'm bummin off Addiction for the rating scales! Appearance – 10 Construction – 9 Flavor – 8 Value – 10 (Gift from Addiction!!) Overall Experience -9 Overall Grade – 9.2 This is a great smoke to use as a starter for a newbie. Tasted great and didn't have any harshness at all. Highly recommend for those with the mild-medium taste buds or for those full-bodied smokers who want to try something new. Thanks Bryan for the gift!!! I really enjoyed it.

Great review - I had my first Cuesta Rey yesterday and it was just fantastic.
Aren't these made by Fuente?
