Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon Review

First I’d like to thank the members who posted threads on this cigar. You made this cigar sound like one I should try and you were right.

Nicaraguan cigar 6 ½ x 54 Torpedo with an African Cameroon wrapper

The appearance of this cigar was appealing; its dark brown Cameroon wrapper was stretched smooth with small veins. The double band gave it a premium look. It cut smooth and it appeared to be well constructed.

The cigar took awhile to light but yielded a unique but pleasing taste right from the start. The ash was very firm and although the burn had some unevenness, it took very little to correct.

The medium flavor was smooth and yielded a sensational blend of sweet spices and dark roasted coffee to start and than offered more of a floral spicy middle and finished with a nice woody taste.

Overall I enjoyed this cigar very much. It was milder than I’m used to smoking, but the flavors were so pleasing I would not hesitate to buy a box or recommend to both beginning and seasoned smokers.

Great review, you just can't go wrong with a Torano. These have been among some of my favorites. I just love most of the different Torano lines. Gotta have the 1959's

Congrats nice review. These are interesting cigars. Sometimes the younguns are real tasty somtimes they need to rest. I've had 3-4 boxes and they all have been different. Could have been how long the retailer had them.

Pretty much sums up how I feel about this cigar. Definitlely milder than my usual smokes, but still a very satisfying one. One of my faves on a warm afternoon. Nice review Mike!
