Lars Tetens Shorty Review

For any of you younger gorillas out there wondering what this is, it's a precursor to the ACID style cigar, only not as good. Looked a little rugged and smelled like an ashtray that had had lots of clove cigarette ashes and some nag-champa incense dust scattered in. Burn was OK, lots of yellow-green toxic smoke, all the bugs flying around were dieing and landing on my nose. Overall I would say the taste was similar to licking a hippie-girl's patchouli laden armpit after an all night Greatful Dead show. These things are still around, I can't believe it, but they still are offered for sale. I called my buddy Paul at Atlantic cigar, and he told me they still sold them. So, if you think Acid's are bad, order a few Lars Tetens, you will be begging for and Acid. I've had this cigar sitting in it's little styrofoam baggie for at least 7-8 years, I don't know why I smoked it, just bored I guess.

From what I know, didn't Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate work for Lars Teten? I thought that Jonathan Drew. with help of John Kelly of TESA cigar, aka the "High Monk" took what Lars was doing to another level...I may be wrong, but thsat is what I heard...

My daughter gave me a 5 pack she got from a friend about a year ago. Never even opened it yet. Based on your review it will probably stay unopened until some night when I've had a few drinks and lack good judgement and common sense.
