Don Kiki Red Label Robusto - 5 x 52

I've had a green label, and I would almost rather eat my socks, but after hearing some good things, I decided to give a Red Label a try. And at $2, what's it hurt?

It felt great, it looked great, and it cut well. No complaints so far. Until the light, that is. Lucky me, I ran out of butane last night, and forgot to pick some more up, so matches had to do. Yeah, right--I've already found out the hard way that matches and I do not get along. After several matches and some language my mother wouldn't be proud of, I got it lit. It started out with a heavy canoe (one side lit first), but with some spit, and magical skill, I got it balanced.

This thing had great flavor! Of course it was smoldering hot at first trying to get the burn all the way around, but a while later it cooled down. Some spice, and just a full and flavorful cigar.

It stayed pretty much the same, perhaps smoothing out a bit towards the end. I did notice, however, a sudden hit of chocolate within the last 1.5 inches of the smoke...very nice!

I was delightfully surprised with this stick, and at $2 a piece, I just might buy a box. Flavor balanced with price, I give this an A for value!

I would have to agree. Having herfed another economically ideal cigar with you, they were excellent buys. The Perdomo Fresco (torpedo stick) at $2.75 was very rich and sharp. We had an excellent cheap smoke. What a .

This is a very tasty bundled cigar from Cuban Crafters. The green label is very good too.

I need to try these. DK Red Label was the original blend for 5 Vegas, before the brand was moved to the La Aurora facotry.
& I love me some 5 Vegas!
