Victor Sinclair Bohemian Revolution Dos Capa Predator Review
Introduction
Victor Sinclair Bohemian Revolution Dos Capa Predator is the longest cigar name I have run across so far. This came in one of the Best of Victor Sinclair samplers I bought (10 cigars a good deal on some interesting smokes) and has been laying around about 10 months. This is a very blond cigar with some greenish tinges (maybe it’s the band). These were bonus “unknowns’ from the sampler I bought to try the serie 55 and bohemian sticks. It has a double wrap Connecticut over Cameroon. I’m not sure you can get them anywhere as singles or by the box. Pre-Light Ruminations These are very pale. The most pale of the cigars in the sampler. The wrapper had a funny flavor I couldn’t place salty something? Not a badly constructed cigar just average. 6x 48 is my estimation on the size of this stick. Initial Thoughts The light was funny you could tell there were 2 wrappers on this baby. I have heard that some cigars have more of a wrapper flavor profile than filler. This was my first experience with that. Had a real unusual taste after it settled in. Not bad just different. I’m guessing it was the Cameroon under Connecticut wrapper dominating the mild tobacco in the stick. Had kind of a Cigar Lite feeling about the stick. I like lite beer so that isn’t meant as a negative just different than most sticks I’ve smoked. Smoking Experience Salty lime tortilla chips lite is the flavor. Weird, in a I’m interested enough to keep smoking these kind of way. It put out enough smoke. It kept me thinking about what it tasted like and still could come up with nothing but salty lime tortilla chips. Burn was OK corrected a couple times. Pulled an almost all nighter so was zoning through most of the cigar. Crispy was one of the flavor thoughts which is probably where the tortilla chips came from. Was interested enough to nub it and it never got hot. Turned towards mild to medium spice in the last inch and a half. Final Thoughts Different. Probably my least favorite from the sampler but very smokable. For a couple bucks it was better than average and a different change of pace. Last edited by Da Klugs; 02-23-2005 at 02:17 AM.. |

Victor Sinclair Bohemian Revolution Dos Capa Predator
I make it a point to never smoke a cigar I can't pronounce in a paragraph or less. Although I like the Bohemian thing, I used to drink a beer in college called Old Bohemian. Nice review anyway.
