Some Cigarillo Reviews
This is my short review. These are an OK smoke, but for the same price you can get HDM Excalibur Cigarillos or Sancho Panza Matadors, both of which will last twice as long and taste better. Also, in one of the Nats I found a piece of wood that I'm honestly surprised could even fit in there. It flavored the smoke interestingly, I shall have to pay a hand roller to make me a hickory cigar some day.
![]() I love the Excalibur and Matador cigarillos, they are a great value. They last me 20-30 minutes and have a solid tobacco flavor that I enjoy greatly. The thing about small cigars is, you don't have to engineer them to have a flavor that will interest you for 2 hours, so you can make them cheaper while still getting great pleasure out of them. Of the two, the Excalibur is stronger. Petit Nobel Dominican small cigars (very very small LOL), these are actually quite good. The problem is they are slightly overpriced at 40 cents each when they don't last nearly as long as a 40 cent cigarillo should. The taste is excellent, call me crazy but they taste something like pretzels. Pretzels and tobacco. Smooth sweetish smoke. If I could find them for 25-30 cents I would buy them. Anyone got a favorite cigarillo?

Re: Some Cigarillo Reviews
Gotta come clean and say I dont mind whipping out an occasional Optimo cigarollo. When I want a quick smoke while walking around outside. And, the blue-mint ones are good with a Vanilla bean Frappachino at Starbucks. Yah...

Good review!! I like Torano Exodus, LAdC Interlude and LFD Mojitos. They are darn good cigarillos, imo.

If you buy them in a case of 6 (8 cigars to a pack) you can get them for $22.95, which works out to $3.82 per pack or about 48 cents each. For a flavored cigarillo this doesn't seem too bad. Anyone have any suggestions of something similar but cheaper? Rick |

Re: Some Cigarillo Reviews
I'm glad someone posted something about cigarillos because I've been looking to try some different ones. I've tried all of the Gurkha Limited Vintage and Special Edition tins. I can't say I liked any of the Special Editions because none of the flavors were that close to what they were supposed to be and I could taste them for many, many hours after I was done with one.
That sucks for something that's only 3.5"x26. As for the Limited Vintage line, I really liked the Chocolate, Caffe Tabac, and Exotic Orient. They all tasted and smelled exactly how you'd expect them to. I expected the Tiramisu to be sweet, but the flavor wasn't like that at all and I find myself avoiding it. The Cognac did absolutely nothing for me and I think I've still only had one of those. They're more expensive than probably what you're looking for (10 tins of 7 ~ $0.86 per stick), but I only take them to the bar on the weekend as I don't smoke cigarettes and go through maybe 2 or 3 a night. The tins are the perfect size to fit in your front jeans pocket along with a Zippo (with my Z-Plus, of course |
