Some Cigarillo Reviews

Nat Sherman Nats: These are an OK smoke, but for the same price you can get HDM Excalibur Cigarillos or Sancho Panza Matadors, both of which will last twice as long and taste better. Also, in one of the Nats I found a piece of wood that I'm honestly surprised could even fit in there. It flavored the smoke interestingly, I shall have to pay a hand roller to make me a hickory cigar some day.

I love the Excalibur and Matador cigarillos, they are a great value. They last me 20-30 minutes and have a solid tobacco flavor that I enjoy greatly. The thing about small cigars is, you don't have to engineer them to have a flavor that will interest you for 2 hours, so you can make them cheaper while still getting great pleasure out of them. Of the two, the Excalibur is stronger, and the tin had the chickencoop smell we have all come to love.

Petit Nobel Dominican small cigars (quite small in fact), these are actually quite good. The problem is they are slightly overpriced at 40 cents each when they don't last nearly as long as a 40 cent cigarillo should. The taste is excellent, call me crazy but they taste something like pretzels. Pretzels and tobacco. Smooth sweetish smoke. If I could find them for 25-30 cents I would buy them.

Anyone got a favorite cigarillo?

Edit: Darnit... I accidentally clicked on Habanos lounge and thought I was in the right place when I saw the CAO thing... Please move this.

Yeah, I love a Matador sometimes if I'm on a quick drive or walk. But my favorite cigarillos so far are Ashton Senioritas. Kinda pricey for cigarillos, but DAMN they are tastey. The best cheapo cigarillo I've tried, hands down, are Macoba classic minis. They are machine made, paper binder (I know, I know) but they are nice little smokes, and super cheap on c bid. Even at retail from CI they are $15 for a brick of 100. On c bid I've never paid more than $9 for a brick of 100.

Re: Some Cigarillo Reviews

Are there two different kinds of Macobas? One of them is vanilla flavored I think. I'll try buying some, the brick and mortar has them and probably those senoritas.
