Avo No. 2 Maduro Review

This is a beautiful cigar. The black matte band with silver lettering stands out nicely against the dark wrapper.
Lit up on a Sunday morning to go with my Caramel Macchiato, which it went very nicely with. Both medium bodied and sweet. Burn and draw were perfect. Flavor kept up throughout the cigar, never a bad note. Smoked every inch I could squeeze out of it.
I'm not sure if it would be quite as good with beer (or anything else I would be drinking in the afternoon / evening), but it couldn't be bad. Might go nicely with amaretto on the rocks.
This cigar prompted me to try more AVO cigars...

Very good review!

As many fans as Avo cigars have, I haven't had one that has thrilled me really. I understand the Avo Domaine cigars have a bit more strength, I might try one of them.

Have you had the maduro, Matt? Great cigar. Lots of flavour but no harshness.

Yeah, had a torpedo or belicoso in the maduro line. I agree on the lack of harshness but the flavor is what I was missing, perhaps too refined for the likes of me .
