AVO Robusto (Classic) Review
ehh...
If people have tried this Avo, I can see why they would not like it. This was a bearable cigar - I would certainly prefer it over some. But it really wasn't that great, and compared to other Avos, it left a lot to be desired. Construction seemed very nice, just like the other Avos - nice draw and even burn. But the flavor was just kind of odd... The best way I can describe it is that it tasted cold and dry, and had sort of a fishy / mossy taste. I gave up after an inch or two - it just wasn't very pleasant. In case you haven't realized by now, I bought the "Take 5" sampler. Still to come are the Domaine, Maduro, and Signature Robustos... |

You definitely got a dud. Fishy? Mossy? Not a typical Avo trait as far as I'm concerned. If you like em mild-medium, try an AVO Classic Petit Belicoso

I'm really not an AVO fan, just to mild for me, not my flavor profile I guess. But of the ones I've smoked I liked the XO line the best.
