Why go to all that trouble? The Serie V and Nub Habano wrapper are the same wrapper. That's directly from people at Oliva.

Leaves are picked from the top, middle, and bottom of the plant. The top priming is the strongest, Liego leaf. That is what is used on the Serie V.

as far as a nub miami and a maduro go, i would LOVE to try a maduro version of the 460 size. that would be very tasty i think.

In the Cuban tradition, a tobacco plant is divided into three sections: The Corona, the Seco, and the Volado. The leaves in each section are: Corona= Corona and Semi-corona; the Seco= Centro Gordo, Centro Fino, and the Centro-ligero; the Volado= Uno y Medio and Libra de Pie. I am not sure where it was started that the corona was called the ligero, but I have heard this from other sources as well.

Anyone know?
