Toronto Area - Cigar dinner, roller and pipe event
We would like to remind you of the upcoming dinner, next week. (We need to apologize for a confusion created around the cigars that will be part of the event). Details for the dinner are as follows:
- Date: Wednesday September 21st, 6:00 PM
- Place: Tappo Wine Bar & Restaurant, in the Distillery District
- Dinner consists of an amazing 5-course tasting menu, paired with fine wines for your delight, and 3 handmade Cuban cigars. Attendees will also have the opportunity to buy other Cuban cigars to take home.
Antipasto: Platters of artisan cured meats and cheeses, paired with Pinot Grigio
Pasta: Veal ravioli with oyster mushrooms in butter sauce, paired with Chianti
Pesce: Pan seared pickerel, herb polenta and baby pea tendrils, paired with Chardonnay
Carne: Red wine braised lamb shank w/ tomatoes & potato, paired with Cabernet Sauvignon
Dolce: Limoncello infused panna cotta with fresh berries and raspberry caulis
Cigars: A selection of 3 fine and very difficult to find cigars from our humidor.

Mrs. Miltania Perez, cigar roller, teacher of rollers and more recently Quality Control Manager at the Romeo y Julieta factory in Cuba, will be again at our store on October 3rd, and October 5th to 8th.
La Casa del Habano in Toronto will return to its regular hours starting Monday September 19th. Regular hours are:
Monday to Saturday: 10-7
For those who enjoy a pipe smoke, we have organized a “festival” for Thursday October 6th, starting at noon. Mrs. Penelope Easton, the representative of one of our suppliers, will bring an assortment of pipes from different manufacturers as well as a variety of tobacco blends; she will also provide a “Master” class and answer all questions you might have as a beginner or as a seasoned pipe lover.
