Marketing is very important after all if you can just convince someone to try it....... I love several of the RP products I have tried, so.... I really want to try more of his products. The IT Super Fuerte Maduro remains one of my all- time favorites. RP OWR also great.

Are they going to be with the standard B&Ms or are they limited to better customers?

Ooh, good catch. I mixed the 8 and the 2 up on the number pad. I'd compare it to a 1998 Opus X, with more body and a touch of sweetness.

I can tell you right now it won't be on shelves in two weeks as C.A. states. We won't be getting them on the next shipment from our factory for this month. So at best, it'd be mid-July. It's worth the wait though!

The boxes themselves are incredibly unique. Rocky just showed us the final decision last night.

Thanks for your support guys!

Do you have any pics of the boxes that you could post?

No, I wish I did though. The cigar bands are just now being finalized as well. As soon as we have the final product, I'll do my best to get photos out to you.

With all due rspect MOJO, RP is not the king of marketing. I would give that title to Gurkha founder Mr Hansotia. Rocky has had to totally re-invent himself and his blends. He did that with hard work, and dedication to his customers. My handle reflects my admiration of Rocky, and the products he puts forth. I have been thru the Indian Tabac era, and it was rough. It's nice to see the new blends take off.

Smile Rockey Patel Summer Blend 2008

I was at one of the local B&H's today and came across these. I am curious if anyone else has gotten a chance to try them out. The seem very nice.

I had the lancero last night. At the time I was distracted, so I wasn't paying close attention to the flavor profiles. What I do remember, though, was that it was extremely smooth. Light on the pepper and spice, earthy, hints of fresh baked bread. I'm not sure it was best to have this as a nightcap. I can see this being a breakfast or midday smoke. Thoroughly enjoyed and hopefully still available the next trip to the B&M.
