So I've started breaking in a new cob (bent country gentleman). Unlike my other I can't get a pipe cleaner through the to the bowl on this one. After looking and fiddling with it it appears that the problem lies in the fact that the pipe cleaner takes a curve from the stem and then is hitting the stem (wrong term?) right about the point where said stem enters the cob. So, I'm assuming that some sort of reaming is in order but I'm a little lost. Do I just need to adjust the taper on the inside? If that is the case what's a good tool for the job? I don't have any tapered reamers that small at the shop. Or should I just not worry about it and pull the stem after each bowl for cleaning? Thanks for the advice everyone I really appreciate it.
