Thinking about a Radice
So I've always thought Radices looked pretty good and have seriously been considering getting one. Especially since a friend of mine recently picked one up and says he loves it, and the fact that I can get a pretty good deal on one doesn't hurt. Yea I've heard they're "good pipes" or a "quality company", but so is my 80 dollar bjarne or 50 dollar Benton... Just sort of before I drop the bucks for one I was hoping to get some other opinions on them, mainly are they that good of a smoke (stay pretty cool/dry with good smoking habits of course etc)?
By the way, not sure if this belongs here or in the general pipe section.. sorry if it's in the wrong spot

Re: Thinking about a Radice
I believe the member "monsoon" on here has a couple now. He bought one, liked it so much that he bought another. From what I understand, they both smoke great and are well worth the money. I have been wanting one as well.

Re: Thinking about a Radice
They are a much steeper of an investment than a Sav., stanwell, or Bjarne so you better be sure.

Re: Thinking about a Radice
Ok so I did it. And I've got to say... it was TOTALLY worth it. Absolutely love it and yes, the difference is there. This baby smokes incredibly cool and dry. And as for the whole break-in thing, well right out of the box this baby smokes fine, can't wait to see how it is after a few smokes. Now I just have to keep myself from drooling over the thought of the next bowl of 965 with a little perique thrown in.

And yea.. that's why I was asking for opinions on how they smoked. Not a price comparison
