Larry's Blend
Well, this was my first "English" blend to smoke and I decided to smoke it out of a recently purchased estate pipe as I would like to have the added benefit of a sufficient cake. Anyways, i've heard nothing but good reviews about this blend and i wanted to distinguish myself among the various types of tobaccos (as i've been having trouble doing lately, or in the first place for that matter).
This was described to me as an English blend w/ Virginian, Latakia, and Oriental. I smoked a very small bowl of this stuff cause i picked a mini pipe. The taste was that of smokey, hay-like wood in my opinion. I dunno if it was because i smoked it out of an estate pipe and there was some ghosting or it really did just taste like it. Regardless, i'm glad i gave an English type blend a try, but i think i'll stick to my aromatics for a little while before i cross over. I still have some tongue training to do. http://tobaccoreviews.com/blend_deta...PHA=L&TID=2435 |

Re: Larry's Blend
Root sent me a sample of this blend through the NPS trade. I really enjoyed it and ended up buying 4oz of it.
