FYI......Escudo Rocks!!!

Thanks Don (dj1340) This stuff is amazing! Half way through a bowl and I wanna load up another pipe so I can chain smoke! I can see why everybody raves about this flake.......it tastes great. Smells good too. Now I just have to find somebody that actually has it in stock so i can buy some.

Re: FYI......Escudo Rocks!!!

Yes sir, that's some good stufffffff.

My first tin was excellent but i think i'm "growing out" of it for some reason. It just doesn't bring me that same pleasure it did back when i was introduced to it. I have a tin aging so we'll see what that does.

However, if you like Escudo i STRONGLY recommend trying St. James Flake. I've only had one bowl but it was quite splendid.

Ah, Escudo

Among the best stuff on earth. I can't get enough of it either, but I try to control meself so I don't get bored with it. Cellar has 5lbs worth squirrelled away, enough for many years of coin-rubbing-pleasure!

Re: FYI......Escudo Rocks!!!

I will further concur with the thread title: ESCUDO ROCKS

I had an exquisite experience last night around 2AM while watching a few videos from Dub. I forgot how much "taste" this tobacco had! It was incredible! However, toward the end of my hour smoke the nicotine was getting to me and made me a bit uncomfortable to my stomach, but the pleasure i experienced while savoring this incredible leaf heavily outweighed my tummy. Gah, this is good stuff.

Might i mention it was the first smoke to break in my NEW PIPE, and i dunno if that had anything to do w/ the "pure flavor" i experienced, but either way i hope this is not just one-time thing for me.

Re: FYI......Escudo Rocks!!!

It's been a little tough to find lately. I've ordered from several places only to get an email telling me it's back-ordered. Sorry, I know that's not much help. Smokingpipes.com does show it in stock but they told me it was back-ordered afterward. So did Iwanries.com and Pipesandcigars.com. Hope you have better luck than I did.

People love the stuff. It does disappear very quickly.

Re: FYI......Escudo Rocks!!!

My mistake, it's Irish flake that's holding my order up at P&C. I just hope they don't run out of Escudo before they ship.
