A tremendous thank you to Forrest

My introduction thread: Hello, immigrant from the cigar side.

In there I spoke of a tobacco bomb I received a few days ago which has now led me to the pipe slope. Of course having nothing pipe related, Forrest came out and said he was going to send me a pipe.

Box arrived just a few minutes ago, contents:

Thank you Forrest. Tremendously generous of you, it is a gorgeous pipe.

Hmm, can't see it for some reason... But I'm sure it is beautiful.

Beautiful Pete Aran. I don't know that I've ever seen that much birdseye on a Peterson before. A very generous gift that should last a lifetime. . .

    Well done!

I've been known to smoke a pipe every now and then, very amateur though, just a $40 pipe from the local B&M and some cheap aromatics.

I have to say, that is one sexy pipe, gratz on that...and nice hit Forrest!

    I suck.

I just now found David's 'immigrant' post, which lead me here. I've been enjoying pipes for just over three months, and regret I was unable to participate in your timely welcome. So, welcome home! And you are obviously off to a fantastic start. Forrest, you are a champ.

Of course, David, I can only be a bit envious of your Peterson. Despite how that sounds when one man says it to another!

    I'm suddenly reminded of this:

Let us know which blends you're enjoying most.
1792 Flake was first produced in 1830, exactly 139 years before man walked on the moon. Coincidence?
