I think I am a little bit late on this one.... anyways, I run a plastics manufacturing facility... injection molding to be exact. I program the machinery, setup the tool & dies, test & prototype new materials & oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process. So, basically... I get everything up & running smooth to put a minimum wage employee on the machine who then screws it up and I have to go fix it.

I am a licensed professional engineer [P.E.] with a background in mechanical and petroleum engineering. I am an independent who provides a specialized technical service to oil & gas company clients, both domestic and international. I am also a minor oil & gas investor in properties located in the U.S.

I like to play poker, so what I would really like to do for a living is open a cigar-bar type card room in New Orleans: fine liquor, fine pub-fare food, fine cigars, and deep leather chairs for lounging around with fine women.

i was in the military for 6 years, but they were getting rid of my job at my last duty station and turning it over to contractors... so, i slid from being in uniform to no uniform and 3x the money in a matter of days.

i do TV production work, mainly setting up conference rooms, doing VTCs, directing cameras, dogging cables, setting up mics and cameras, working all of it, etc. i also have to make an interactive CD after these "exercises" are done... oh, the unit i work with does wargaming exercises with the combat divisions and corps of the army.

I do the same thing as IHT...except I was never in the military and I don't make those cute CDs at the end of an "exercises."
Besides that we have the same job just on different teams. But maybe not for long.

Hey Ace, if you ever get that cigar-bar thing going let me know. I'd drive to New Orleans just to smoke a cigar and play some cards with you.

Traveling RN in ER, currently in Austin, leaving for Charlottesville, Va next week. Great gig, pays well, get to see the country all expenses paid with bennies, dont have to deal with institutional BS that fulltime staff are always saddled with. If you dont mind moving every 6 months it cant be beat. Frank B

how long have you been up at drum? i was up there last year around march? when that helicopter crashed...

glad i wasn't stationed there... i'd hate to see what those single guys without cars have to do to get to work/chow hall. everything is so far away from each other (it seems).
