Sory to hear that!If you've been there before you know that FT Stewart sucks, everything good(including cigar stores) is in Savannah! You'll be driving

i've been there many, many times. the thing that drives me nuts is the water. never smelled/tasted so much sulfur in my life. i get sick just taking a shower down there.

I don't really mind Ft. Stewart. The water doesn't really bother me. And I'll bring all the cigars I plan on smoking. But we should try and hook up.

I found a job in Houston - not too exciting, but it will do for now.

I am a project planner for a major oil field construction company.

I have a BS in construction management.

I was in chemical engineering for 3 years - then reached a point where I could barely understand it - then swithced to CM and finished in 2 years.

If I could do it all over again I would major in Civil Eng.

Thats very similar to that path that I am taking. I started out in bioengineering, then realized that a) being a doctor and an engineer at once was nuts and b) I didnt want to spend my life in a lab. So now I am majoring in civil engineering with my concentration in either structural engineering or construction management...not sure just yet.

Re: What Kind of Work You In?

I am an account executive for a company that provides wireless solutions to the healthcare industry. Our main product is the most utilized mobile workstation in the industry. Our goal is to enhance patient care by providing a means for networked information (patient records, prescription information, etc.) to be accessed right at the bedside.

I cover Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. If there are any hospital/medical/clinician types in here, I would love to talk to you!

Re: What Kind of Work You In?

I'm a Retired Cement Chemist.Worked in the QC lab for 22yrs.my main duties for the first 7yrs.were to perform QA on the various constituents used in the manufacture of cement on an hourly basis, and to control their distribution in the mix based on the results. Then came a promotion to Analyst.and then Senior Analyst for the last few yrs.One day in 2001 I said to my wife"I'm outta there",walked out a week later, and never looked back...No worries tho.I've got retirement benefits, and some residual cash flow from some prior endevors. The mortgage is paid off,so at age 52 I'm early retired and lovin it!Lots of time for shooting, hunting, fishing, cigar smoking, and drinking a few glasses of good bourbon once in a while..ugh not necessarily in that particular order tho...
